Damn it X, I'm jealous!!! Mmm, scotch, golf and an Avo Domaine sounds mighty tasty. Playing Vellano here in Chino Hills on Saturday. It's supposed to cool down on Sat and Sun. Stay hydrated X, you have a blog to run so don't go droppin dead on us now.
I picked up a bottle of Green Label for sipping by the pool. I prefer single malts but this will do. I do have some Avo's along with plenty of other cigars to try. I went a little nuts at CI and ordered a big sample pack along with my regulars.
Vellano, nice. I haven't played it. Isn't that a private trac? I've not heard a lot of positive comments about it. But from what I've seen it looks interesting. I kinda like weird courses. Short and mickey mouse is my kinda course. However I'm getting more crooked off the tee as I head towards senior tour age so I might start hating them too.
My wife's uncle is a member there so that's how I'm getting on. The reviews I've heard of it are mixed so I'll wait until I'm done before I cast judgment.
Thanks for the tip Adrian. Gonna make a Costco run this weekend and pick one up. Oban is good stuff. I'll pick one up for the wife's uncle as a gift. He likes Buchanan's so we have something to talk trash about on the course.
The temps were awesome for Palm Springs in August. It only cracked 100 2 of the 4 days. I hit the ball like crap but still managed to squeak out some decent scores.
Indian Wells resort 77 LaQuinta Mountain (from the tips) 78 Eagle Falls (from the tips) 82 Shadow Ridge 78
I just couldn't make any birdies on those damn bermuda greens. Unless I stuck it inside of 4 feet I didn't make a damn thing. That and I pulled everything I hit at Eagle Falls. Hit it in the rough on that course and it's a lost ball!

Oban 14 year for only $55 at Costco the other day! I was happy. Then I was drunk. On something else, I'm saving the Oban for later.
